ANZAC w/e at Anglesea

9 families and a total of 25 children from Middle Park Primary School stayed in the Coastal Forest Lodge at Anglesea. We had an action packed weekend full of surfing, mountain biking, horse riding, bush walking, climbing on the rope park and toasting marshmallows on the campfire. It was awesome!

Easter Egg Hunting

Well we had a hippity, hoppity Easter. We took the ferry from Queenscliffe to Sorrento to meet up with the Bruces and other friends for a massive Easter Egg Hunt and BBQ.  Alex and Charlie were thrilled as a pod of dolphins swam in the bow wave of the ferry on the way over. Sam has really worked out what Easter is all about, and was hunting under bushes for eggs for days afterwards.
On Easter Sunday there was a big colouring competition at our campsite (we were still at Point Lonsdale); the judges decision was eagerly awaited and Charlie and Sam won their age categories! (more chocolate)

Easter in Point Lonsdale

Could it be any more perfect? Probably not... an idyllic morning, sunny, no wind and 24 degrees. We're in Point Lonsdale in our caravan for the week before Easter.  Alex and Charlie went surfing and I had a nice long run along the back beach. Forget the Easter Ripcurl Pro at Bell's... it was all happening at the Pier Beach.

We've had a great few days, our good friends Rob, Emma and Becca came to visit and we had fun on the beach and in the waves. We've been bike riding to Queenscliffe and Alex and Rog cycled the rail trail to Drysdale.
